Juliet Feibel, PhD, Named Director of ARTSWorcester

 

  

 


After a national search, ARTSWorcester has selected Juliet Feibel, PhD, of Worcester MA, as their new Executive Director.  Ms. Feibel has extensive experience in non-profit management, membership organizations, the arts and education.   She has served as a social media consultant to the Museum of Russian Icons, Associate Director of Imagining America: Artists and Scholars in Public Life, and Director of Education at the Ann Arbor (MI) Arts Center.  Beyond the arts, Ms. Feibel also has experience working with international human rights and humanitarian aid organizations.  She currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Jewish Community Center in Worcester, co-chairing the Strategic Planning and Development Committees.

 

Ms. Feibel, who holds degrees in art history and English language and literature from Northwestern University and University of Michigan, brings to ARTSWorcester a life-long passion for the arts, including studying the visual arts at the Interlochen (MI) Center for the Arts, an internship in the Department of Museum Education at the Art Institute of Chicago, and professional training in drama and dance.  Both of her children attend Worcester Arts Magnet School.

 

ARTSWorcester (AW) is a 501c3 non-profit organization located in Worcester, Massachusetts. AW consists of over 400 artist members in all media and a support group of Friend members. It is responsible for twenty-five exhibitions a year in five exhibit locations. The purpose of the organization is to enhance the quality of the community by exhibiting art, supporting local artists, and creating a vibrant cultural dialogue.
