“Now hear the fourfold roots of everything…” Empedocles

           Worcester, MA – ArtsWorcester presents Earth, Air, Fire, Water, an exhibition of works by Beth Neville, at the Hadley Building, 657 Main Street, Worcester, MA 01610.  This exhibit will be on view starting August 8 and runs through December 2012, and is free and open to the public.  Please come to the Aurora Gallery during gallery hours to view the show. 

           Inspired by Aristotle’s cosmological theory of four elements, Neville’s six large-scale acrylic paintings feature vast ocean waves, magnificent waterfalls, powerful windstorms and mystifying stone pillars.  The viewer is captivated by bright colors and vibrant images depicting spectacular events of our planet’s creation and nature’s diversity and eternal essence.

           An artist reception will take place at the Hadley on Friday September 28, between 6-8 PM.  This event, held in conjunction with fall exhibits at the Aurora, is also free and open to the public.  Free parking is available in the paved lots between Ionic and Beacon Street, one block up from the Hadley and ArtsWorcester.
