Older Artists, Newer Works
Older Artists, Newer Works features Frances Kornbluth and Erik Sandburg Diment.
Artists Reception: Friday, December 3, 2010 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at ARTSWorcester’s Aurora Gallery 660 Main Street, Worcester, MA. This event is free, open to the public and features refreshments and live music by Nat Needle.
Frances Kornbluth, at the age of 90, is one of ARTSWorcester’s oldest members and is presenting collages in black and white. She has a long career as a landscape painter, showing internationally, which dates back to her graduations from Brooklyn College in 1940 and Pratt Institute in 1962. Now, Frances splits her studio time between Connecticut and summers in Maine.
Erik Sandberg-Diment began painting in the 1960’s but put art aside as he flourished in a writing career as a columnist for the New York Times, authored half a dozen books and wrote countless magazine articles. Today, Erik’s work is brightly colored action painting.
