Hangin’ on the Wall expands on Worcester’s history of wallpaper manufacturing.  In collaboration with the Worcester Historical Museum, Hangin’ on the Wall explores and challenges ARTSWorcester member artists to reinterpret Worcester’s wallpaper-making tradition exemplified by the Allen-Higgins Wallpaper Company.  Hangin’ on the Wall encourages established and emerging local visual artists to create contemporary interpretations of this important period in Worcester’s industrial heritage by developing new works of art using, or inspired by wallpaper.
