Out of the Woods

Out of the Woods Artist Reception: Friday, January 30, 2009 from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm in the ARTSWorcester Gallery at the Hanover Theatre, 554 Main Street, Worcester. This occasion is free and open to the public.

Karen Nunley eloquently describes her passion for art as an undeniable creative force, driving and challenging her artistic ability since childhood. Nunley states, "From the time I could hold a pencil, I have loved drawing, but I had never done anything serious enough to frame until the late 1980's when I took a watercolor class. Since then, I have experimented in different media and have taken drawing, painting, and printmaking courses at the Worcester Art Museum." Nunley's work has appeared in many local exhibitions and she has been honored to receive awards from the Art Center at Southborough, Friends of the Marlborough Library, the Hudson Arts Alliance, and the Cambridge Art Association. In addition, Nunley has been an active member of the Blackstone Print Studio since November of 2006.
