Open-Mic Performance Night: April 21, 2007 from 7:00 – 10:30 pm.

Aurora Nights is an open mic performance night hosted by ARTSWorcester. It is an event that encourages performing and literary artists of all realms and ages to attend. The doors open at 7:00 pm on Friday, April 21 and will close at 10:30 pm. There will be a $5.00 cover charge as we will be featuring Steven Mossberg, one of the area’s finest indie musicians and also Me and the Kid. Refreshments will be served. This is an event unlike any other in Worcester as it is a place for various types of artists and encourages ALL to attend! Be part of the stars at AURORA NIGHTS

Aurora Nights is a series of performance evenings at the historic Aurora Gallery sponsored by ARTSWorcester and coordinated by Nadine Haija.

Opening on Friday, April 20 is Worcester Magazine’s Fifth Annual Photo Contest Exhibition - a juried group exhibition of Worcester images taken by emerging and established local photographers. The opening is from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and is free and open to the public. The exhibit runs through Saturday, April 28th.

Gallery hours: Tuesdays and Saturdays 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Extended hours are available by appointment. Gallery is closed Sunday and Monday. Free and open to the public.

Currently at the ARTSWorcester Quinsigamond Community College Gallery: through June 29, is The Painted Image, exhibition of works by Tom Grady.
