ARTSWorcester Announces 2006 Summer Performing Artist Concerts

ARTSWorcester is pleased to announce the 2006 ARTSWorcester Sovereign Bank Performing Artist Series, featuring some of the area’s most outstanding musicians performing in a series of free lunch-time concerts at the Atrium at the Worcester Medical Center. Thanks to the sponsorship of Sovereign Bank, and space and sound system provided by Saint Vincent Hospital, ARTSWorcester offers four exciting concerts exploring the realms of jazz, pop, and classical music.

The performances will take place on four consecutive Wednesdays in June from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Atrium of Saint Vincent Hospital at Worcester Medical Center. Bring a box lunch or you can purchase one at the Atrium.

Schedule of Performances:

  • Wednesday, June 7, 2006, 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. Chet Williamson and Dick Odgren
  • Wednesday, June 14, 2006, 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. Singer/Songwriter/Pianist Steve Mossberg
  • Wednesday, June 21, 2006, 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. TBA/Instrumental and Vocal Standards
  • Wednesday, June 29, 2006, 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. Classical pianists Ingrid Guha and Liz Eypper

In addition to our visual and literary artists, ARTSWorcester has many talented performing artists, several of whom are performing in this series. So come for lunch at the Atrium, sit back, and enjoy the music!
