ARTSWorcester invites you to join us for the Opening Reception of Natural Selections on Tuesday, September 12, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm in the QCC/ARTSWorcester Gallery in the Administrative Building at Quinsigamond Community College, 670 West Boylston Street, Worcester. A gallery walk with the artist will be held from 6:30 – 7:00 p.m. that evening.

Redick’s feels her work shows ”realistic; nature based landscapes in acrylic as well as experimental pieces done with other media. My approach to doing landscapes is to look them as a means of expressing something about the emotional forces that shape a person and their world. They have been inspired by the way that Robert Frost's poems about the rugged New England landscape have psychological undercurrents. I think of the artwork as a visual poem…the works that I selected for this show were done with a focus on nature, looking especially for images that give us peace.”
