ARTSWorcester invites you to join us for the Opening Reception of “Sense of Self, Sense of Place” on Friday, January 13, 2006 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the ARTSWorcester Gallery at the Aurora Hotel at 660 Main Street, Worcester. Music and refreshments will be offered. In addition, works by Carrie Crane, the 2005 Jacob Knight Art Award winner, will be featured.
“A Sense of Self, a Sense of Place,” a juried exhibition culled from among ARTSWorcester visual artist’s members, celebrates the individual artist’s experience. Works in mixed media, photography, fiber, works on paper, sculpture, and painting will be displayed.
Artists include: Jim Collins, Nancy Engberg, Don Feeney, Elaine Griffith, Igor Gurbanov, Howard Johnson, Bridget Kane, John Lantz, Nancy Madore, Neil Mansfield, Maxine McDonald, Greer Muldowney, Kathy Murray, John Pascarelli, Lionel Reinford, Marcella Stasa, Mihoko Wakabayshi, Francis Warner, Peter Wise, and Cynthia Woehrle.
Also showing at the Aurora Gallery will be the works of Carrie Crane, the 2005 Jacob Knight Art Award Winner.

- Opening Reception is Friday, January 13, 2006 6:00 – 8:30 p.m. This occasion is free and open to the public and will feature refreshments and music.
- The ARTSWorcester Aurora Gallery is free and open to the public.
- The ARTSWorcester Aurora Gallery hours at the Aurora are: Tuesdays and Saturdays 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Extended hours are available by appointment. The Gallery is closed Sunday and Monday.
